Protecting Communities, Empowering Fire Fighters
The IAFF 12th District consists of over 42,000 professional fire fighters and emergency medical services personnel who protect thousands of communities across the great states of Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean Islands. From the smallest emergency to the largest natural disaster, these professionals stand ready to assist and serve.
Led by Vice President Walter Dix, the IAFF 12th District team is responsible for making sure these public safety experts have the tools they need to do their job safely and efficiently, and have a seat at the table when important decisions are made on public safety issues.
